How to replace a push-button-to-eject water filter

The push-button-to-eject Gibson water filter is WF2CB

  1. Turn off the ice maker.

  2. Push the eject button.

  3. Pull the filter out of the housing.

  4. Push the new filter into the housing until it clicks.

  5. Turn on the ice maker.

  6. Run 2 gallons of water through the water dispenser to purge air and residue.

  7. Reset the water filter replacement reminder light.

How to replace a remove-cup-filter-cover water filter

The remove-cup-filter-cover Gibson water filters are WFCB and WFCB2PAK.

  1. Twist the filter cover cup to the left and remove it from the filter housing.

  2. Pull the filter out of the housing.

  3. With the filter nozzle pointing up, insert the new filter into the housing.

  4. Reinstall the water filter cover.

  5. Run 2 gallons of water through the water dispenser to purge air and residue.

  6. Reset the water filter replacement reminder light
