This motor protector cover (part number 4370408) is for vacuums.
Motor protector cover 4370408 holds the motor protector spring against the motor protector. The motor protector, cover and spring work together to form a bypass valve that opens to allow air to flow to the motor chamber if the vacuum becomes clogged.
Unplug the vacuum before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
