Special details: Tractor battery 96042 doesn't include battery acid; most automotive supply stores carry and will install the acid. Wear safety glasses and gloves if adding acid yourself. The battery must be charged before use.

Lawn Tractor Battery
After reviewing Utube of a Sears Video, I was able to install. Tractor still didn't start. Possible another problem which was stated in the Video.

Lawn Tractor Battery Install
The battery was no problem to install, about 20 minutes. Worked just fine...after I charged the battery...after going to a battery store to have acid installed.

Battery disappointed
If you order this battery be prepared to buy acid at a cart parts store. I feel if you are going to pay 95.00 for a battery then the acid needed should be included.

Dead Battery
The two lawn tractor batteries you sent were two years old and dead. Had to ask for a refund. I'm in the process in returning the dead batteries. I wou give you a zero star but this is not an alternative.

Very disappointing
Completely dead upon arrival. Will have to return it. The options for returning it did not include: was never able to use because the part did not work. Return instructions indicated I should remove the "ticket" from the bottom of the shipping label I printed out. There was no "ticket". Although return shipping is free I was very disappointed to find out I will be charged a return fee. I've dealt with Sears my entire life but won't be doing it in the future.

Dry battery
I was online ordering with an agent and he neglected to say it was a dry battery, which makes sense with shipping, now that I know what a dry battery is but then I had to get help to get it filled

Lawnmower battery
Were we supposed to get a packet of acid WITH it? All it said was to charge for 24 hours. We did. Tractor wouldn't start. Called Sears repair. Had to wait 3 weeks for appointment. That meant getting the yard mowed 3 times @ $40 ea. Sears repair came today. Cost $148.38 for him to tell us we should have gotten a bag of acid with the battery. Would have cost another $100 for him to fix. Instead will take care of locally. If we ever need another battery we'll just buy locally.
