Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part number 6910605. Fits some American EE12-, EE24-, EE3J-, EE3Z- EE63- and EE92-series electric water heaters.

Electronic control board 6910605 controls the heating elements and monitors water temperature in the water heater.

This kit contains the electronic control board with red and black wires attached, and also includes a yellow wire, orange wire, blue wire and 3 wire nuts.

Water Heater electronic Control Board

Took the 9 year old control unit off and replaced with new one. New control board had wires already soldered to them so the old wires on old control board had to be cut. Placed Electrical twist Ties on the wires to make connections. The new module also had a red re-set button and could not fit cover on. Had to drill hole on cover to make it fit. Turned on the power and it worked. Now have hot water again. It just took a little bit of work to make the new board fit but it only took about 40 minutes to get the job done.

I turned off electricity. Use tester to make sure no current going to hot water heater. Unplugged the electronic panel (brain). Wired the two wires red to red black to black. put cover back on. Turned electricity on. Green light 'on ' the brain. Hot water in 90 minutes.
