This gas valve regulates the flow of gas to your gas range's upper rear burner.
When replacing your rear burner's gas valve, plan to replace its shaft seal with another valve (PartsDirect part no. 3188425). Consider replacing its valve knobs if they show damage or significant wear.
After the installation, use soapy water to check your range's gas lines for leaks.
