Answer to a years old problem
I bought a torque wrench years ago that never worked, I was told about this kit that fixes the problem, I ordered it and used most of the part from the kit to fix it (the spring in the kit was wrong) In the end the kit worked and I'm happy now.

Fixed my 1/2 torque wrench
I'm not sure I needed the kit in hindsight. Once I opened the head up I noticed the grease was dry and not allowing the cam to move freely. I cleaned all parts and bent the spring (tighter). I ended up using most of the new parts since I had them.
