This main top supports your gas range's burner assembly, burner grates, covers, wires and gas tubing.

To replace your gas range's main top, remove its burners' grates, caps and heads before removing its top panel and replacing it with the new one. When replacing your range's main top, consider replacing its knobs and grommets if they show damage or significant wear.

Be sure to unplug your gas range and cut its gas supply before replacing its main top.
