Updated Range Triple Surface Element
The center element failed on my Sears Kenmore Elite Range. There's helpful YouTubes that show you how to test. When I got the replacement, it was an improved updated element. The wiring was different so I had to figure out the new placement of the wires. It would have been helpful if a new wiring diagram would have been supplied since it wasn't an exact replacement. The new element worked really well after I got it installed.

Good price but a little challenging to install.
This part replaces the original. It works fine but the wiring is a little different and the clips that hold it in place is in a different location too. There is probably an installation diagram somewhere to help but I was able to get the job done. All this is not the fault of searspartsdirect. This is the second replacement of this element but since this one is a different number maybe it will last longer. The shipping was fast.

Finally got a good one, I hope
Like another poster mentioned, the part was received with the outer ceramic band cracked in several pieces. Sears was very good at replacing it twice without issue. The 3rd one works; however, we did have to shift the back clips over a couple holes so that the wires would reach. The wire receptacle on the burner is a bit different than the original, but it seems to be working fine.

My item arrived broken
Ordering the item was easy but when it was delivered it was broken. The ring was cracked in 4 places and the prong was broken off.
