Part number delivered was differant #

I used Sears Direct and Webiste as I was concerned about the internal thermostat values /ranges of ordering a similar looking part but with a different part number. My concern was several thermostats might look the same but turn on and off at different temps. This Sears website had my specific part number, so I assumed that is what they would send. The thermostat I received has a different part number. I installed it and it works fine, however I really don't know if it's rated the same as the bad one. There was no documentation to explain perhaps what I expect is a part revision/upgrade/change. Granted this is an older microwave and a part change is not unexpected. If I had known various part numbers were interchangeable then I could have sourced this same item at about 2/3rds the cost. Shipping for this part was the same as the part cost and to high.
