Unbelievably easy to install
I had to remove the broken pieces of the old vent grille from the area around the mounting screws first. Once that area was clear I put the new vent grille in place. I carefully wiggled it a little until it seated in place. (I didn't want to break the plastic mounting pieces). It took a minute to get the screws lined up. I got on a ladder so I could see from above. I was careful not to tighten the screws too tightly as I had seen where others had broken the mounting pieces doing this. As long as you're careful, there's nothing to it.
