Maytag gas cooktop switch replacement

The switch(s) for this Maytag gas cooktop were damaged by a lightening strike that followed the copper tubing into the house and straight to the unit. Installation of the switches was easy and took less than 15 minutes. I did have to splice the female connector from the old switch to this new switch wire to mate with the existing male connection. The most time consuming part of the project was removing the burner units and the glass surface, but that gave me a chance to do a really good cleaning job. The cooktop looks and works like new!
