Kit contained all parts needed

It took me about 40 minutes to install the new head gasket kit. First step extract the compressor from the plastic case (hardest part). Then remove the head and clean the old head gasket material off, and install the new gaskets. Then reinstall compressor back in the case. The only problem now is a leak at the tank and the output manifold. This wouldn't be a huge issue if it wasn't for having to remove the outlet hose from the manifold which uses a one-time only clamp. I will need to remove the hose and then tighten the output manifold and reattach the hose. This condition was always an issue. When the air gauge / output manifold unit was sloppily attached and not torqued enough to prevent a leak on the air output nipple before attaching the hose. ugh Anyways its working now so I am happy.

Compressor finally gave up the ghost!!

Ex girl friend got me a 35 gal craftsman air compressor in 2005 and after countless hours of abuse in the garage it finally gave up after I moved, I guess it missed the old garage. Good news is 1.5 hours and a gasket kit later, she lives again!!! Thanks!!!

Air Compressor Gasket and Seals was easy to instal

Watched the YouTube video on the PartDirect web page prior to beginning. This helped very much in completing the repair quickly. I suggest taking pictures as you disassemble the motor compartment for reference on the reassemble of the motor compartment. Maje sure you clean the old graphite gasket from the parts, I use a putty knife to scape it off and some cleaner to make sue the parts were clean.

Easy Gasket Install

Easy to install. Need to make sure gaskets are in the same location as the previous set. Easy to get them mixed up. The O ring was not the exact copy of the old one, but it fit with a little muscle. Best to lubricate the air tube before it is inserted into the ring. Never found out what the large red gasket went to, as my application did not have this in it. The kit was cheaper than buying the gaskets separately. Fast shipping by Sears.
