Not simple, but easy

It comes down to the five deep screw holes in the bottom of the head unit; the canister section can be removed by pressing the dark blue piece at the bottom. With that removed, you can remove those five screws, then split the top from the bottom. Once inside, there are only three main components. Each is only held in by two or three screws; keep those separate and you'll be able to put it back together.
