Yes As long as you're not intimidated
Repair was fairly easy Except getting the picture to be aligned My picture was offline once I installed the chip I suggest tape all 4 sides draw A-line through a with a black marker Then cut the tape and then Disassemble reline the tape once you get your chip in Because it took me like 4 tries to get the picture aligned right

Perfect
The DLP Chip for my Samsung arrived the day after I ordered it! I'm no expert, but I'm fairly handy. It took me about an hour or so to do the complete chip exchange using basic tools. I took lots of pictures of the process to help me put it back together, but they weren't needed. It was very straightforward and would be kind of hard to really screw it up. I did make sure I wore a grounding strap while working with the chip.
