Exact replacement,

Exact replacement, and the installation was straight forward. It was great to have my dishwasher back again, good as new. I’ve used “Sears Parts Direct” several times to find, acquire, and repair appliances in my homes.

Install requires some skill

I suggest watching several YouTube videos to have a clear idea of the job. Not many tools are required, but there is a little electrical exposure and the dispenser is “press fit” in the door. Getting the dispenser released and inserted takes determination and an “just enough” muscle. I do recommend lubricating the gasket with dishwashing liquid soap before installing.

Good service. Right part. Wish it were less expe

It should have taken 20 minutes. It is a "simple" process--except that the metal tabs that are part of the DW inner door panel are too long to engage the plastic protrusions on the detergent dispenser part. "Press in firmly" does not do it. I can't say why, but pressing firmly could not possibly accomplish the "click in". I ended up just bending the tabs on the top side a very small amount, and it works fine, and no leaks around the unit.
