Valve plate assembly Z-AC-0032 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Craftsman 919-series air compressors. It also fits Porter Cable air compressor CPF4515 and these Devilbiss air compressor models: C150E4D-1, C500TVE60V-2, F412-2, F5020, FB412-1, FB5520VP, FBC412-1, FC5020, IRFBF021WK, SDSC150E4D-1, 150E4D-1 and 500TVE60V-2.
Valve plate assembly Z-AC-0032 controls air movement through the pump to compress the air.
This valve plate assembly includes 2 O-ring seals.

Very easy to install
Took about 30 minutes total to rebuild the compressor pump, new cylinder sleeve, compression sleeve and valve plate assembly. $100 for parts compared to over $300 for new compressor!

Poor fit
The '0' ring between the valve plate and the cylinder does not fit. Had to reuse the old one

Just what I needed
I was having trouble with my air compressor not reaching the max air pressure and not shutting off. With the help of the Sears parts person, she helped with the diagnosis of the problem and ordering of the needed parts

Installation of Air Compressor Valve Plate
The installation of the valve plate on my Craftsman compressor was very simple, requiring a T20 Torx driver to remove the shroud, and a 1/2" wrench for the bolts. Total repair time 30 minutes of less.

1999 Craftsman air compressor, well worth the pri.
It broke the connecting rod after almost 20 years of running. I replaced the rod, cylinder, piston, and muffler a month ago. I inspected the valve plate assembly at that time but it looked fine, and after a couple weeks of running I heard it make a clinking sound, so I shut it off and removed the valve plate assembly to find that the tip of one of the reed valves had chipped. I hoped to only have to order a new reed valve but they're not sold separately. Installing the valve plate assembly took maybe fifteen minutes and it runs as well as it did when it was new. Ordering parts
When I ordered the part it didn't say that O rings came with it. I ordered the o-rings separate at a cost. I have tried to return them. We'll see how that goes.
