This manufacturer-approved clock (part number 74009213) for Maytag electric range model MERS755RAB includes a digital clock and cooking timer, the black overlay for the clock face and the electronic control board that manages the operations of the electrical components for the oven.

Shut off the circuit breaker for the range before beginning the repair. Also make sure you are well grounded. The electronic components in the console in which the clock assembly mounts are sensitive and can be damaged by discharges of static electricity.

Removing the existing clock assembly requires opening the console, and doing that may require removing the main top from the range. If you are not confident in your ability to do this, hiring an experienced technician to make the repair is highly recommended.
