This internal timer for a residential washer controls the main functions of the washer, such as filling, agitating, draining and spinning.

  • To remove the old part so you can install this replacement timer, unplug the washer and screw the timer knob off its post. Take out the mounting screw behind where the dial was, then open the control panel to gain access to the timer.
  • Be aware that the hole for mounting the new timer is not threaded. You need to thread the hole with a screw.
