This check valve (part number CAC-437-2) is for air compressors.
Check valve CAC-437-2 lets pressurized airflow into the tank and prevents air from flowing back into the pump.
Unplug the air compressor and bleed air from the tank before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Replacement of air compressor check valve
Compressor had to be removed to release the pressure line. Pressure gauge and safety valve were next and then the removal of the check valve. Installation was the reverse.
