Installing Range Hood Light Socket

Whole thing began with a fused bulb. Removing the bulb by itself is not easy. Better to take the lamp assembly out. Twist the outside rim and the whole assembly will pop out. Do NOT yank at the edges of the lamp assembly. That's how I broke it. Once assembly is out disconnect the wires. There was a snap on connecter that made this easy, Installing the bulb as is is trickier that it looks. I carefully opened the rim, then removed and replaced the bulb without interference from the rim. Replace rim carefully, reconnect the wire and twist rim back on into socket.
