It took a while but outcome is positive!
This part was several weeks back-ordered so I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up! Perfect fit, although the required 1/4-20 hex-head set screw had been lost from the original part. Easily found at the hardware store, however.

Disc plate screw?
So, plate arrived fine except there was no screw to secure it to shaft. Went on line to parts department to purchase and not available to buy. Had to go to my local hardware store to get the screw. Contacted sears on Saturday it's Monday evening now still no reply. But I did get an email on how the product is. Lol
