This walking board for a treadmill is the platform under the walking belt that supports the belt.

Replacing the walking belt at the same time as the walking board is recommended.
When making the repair, inspect the front roller, rear roller, upright frame and main frame for cracks and other signs of excessive wear. Be aware that the pivot point at the front of the main frame is the most common place where cracks develop.
