Water dispenser not working, ice door not closing

water dispenser became intermittent, ice not closing fully. Warm air from leaky ice door melted ice and water dripped. Water quit working altogether, ice melting and refreezing clogs auger. We tried control dispenser first, no change. I found a blog with exact scenario and they pointed me to this upper unit control board. replaced it and it fixed everything, ice door, water dispenser, auger. We had an estimate and they quoted, door control board, ice door, auger motor for $1600 and wasted $60 service visit. I searched the internet and repaired it for and replaced board from Sears for $70. Ding Ding Ding, Chicken dinner!!!! Refurbished parts are the part number with an R at the end. Do your research.
