F2 error code problem
My Kitchenaid microwave model KHMS155LSS was randomly turning on and when checking error codes, returned F2. After a search of remedies for error code F2, it was suggested to replace the control panel keyboard. I also found that after an extensive review of this model and issues, that there is a long history of the control panel flexible keyboard going bad. Probably from years of steam penetrating the flexible circuit used and causing erratic shorts. So after making the decision to replace the control panel versus buying a new microwave, I am happy to say that it indeed fixed the problem. So, my $100 repair (part cost only as I did the labor), saved me from having to purchase a new microwave and the time to install it.
