Although first one was defective. It was quickly replaced with another one and it worked! Even though the unit is older it still operated like it was brand new.

Was as simple as aligning the code on the remote to the code on back of the unit. 10 mins tops.

Opened the cover, changed the switches to match my old remote, put the cover back on, pushed the button and my garage door opened. :)

Problem with programming
Purchased this remote for my son to use on an existing garage door opener. My husband also has a remote that is programmed for the same garage door. When I programmed the new one for my son, the old one that my husband uses stopped working. I reprogrammed my husbands and now the new one won't work. Unable to have both programmed for the same opener at the same time. How do I contact Sears for technical assistance with this problem?

Works great right out of the package!
Had a 22 year old screw drive Craftsman opener and all I did was press the :"Learn" button on opener and press the large button on the Remote and Done! It was over priced though at $53.00
