Where did the screw go?!

I was changing the height pressure compressor hose from tank to pump . First step was to remove the pump enclosure, remove the the four screws, placed the screws on the work been. When I start to put the enclosure back together I found three of the four screws.so I ordered the screw. Four days later I got the screw then completed the compressor repair.
