This agitator auger for a residential washer is the part that turns back and forth to tumble clothes during wash and spin cycles.
To remove the old auger, pull off the agitator cap, then take out the bolt that secures the auger. The part will lift out of the wash basket.
Reverse the disassembly procedure to install the replacement agitator auger.
