Quiet & I've had it for years - replacing belt now
I love this opener. I've had it for years now and need to replace the belt. People say mine is so quiet and I tell them that's due to using a belt drive and occasional WD-40 on the moving parts of the garage door itself. Replacing belt since there is a spot now that is smooth (lost the ridges). I recommend this product and would buy another one.

Has Been Working Flawlessly & I LOVE THE APP!!!
Had it professionally installed about 2 years ago. Has worked flawlessly since. I'm fortunate that I have good WIFI signal strength in the garage and the app has worked flawlessly as well! I love getting a notice when the door has been opened by my kids and I'm half way around the world! Much quieter than my old opener, has great features like turning on the light at night when I enter the open garage door. Great opener, great product, not a single complaint!

Great Features
I had this garage opener for about 3 years now and It works really good. I like that you can receive notifications on your cellphone when your garage is opened or closed. You can open/close it remotely trough your phone. The keypad is very handy when you don't have your keys or cellphone. when I replaced it I just installed the head unit into the old track and it works fine.

an older model with a hiccup!
I have a model 139.53664SRT2 that has been working well for 21 years. Remotes no longer work except after several minutes of the previous opening or closing. Is there an adjustment needed or is is thus just old age???

Mechanically works great; smart home needs work
The unit is strong and quite. I've had no issues. The smart app doesn't work with IFTTT, Smartthings, Google Assistant, Alexa, or any other smart service you are thinking about. This is frustrating because the otherwise incidental MyQ openers do have this. For the same price, you're better off with the other guy.

September 2015 we added this garage door opener to our new home. A craftsman's junk had to have the boards replaced 5 times in the last 4 years. Had all the same issues that the other people had.

Very frustrating
After building a new home I had this garage door opener installed and have had fairly constant headaches with it. The main issue lately has been the wall control for the unit is not working correctly, I believe it?s circuit board is shorted out. The drive unit will not recognize it anymore no matter how many times I get it to try learn it again. Also garage door is randomly opening in the night, have disconnected the wall control going to see if that solves the issue. Not happy has only been about a year since I moved in.

Didn?t Live Up to Craftman?s Quality
After having my garage door opener only 5 years I?m having to replace it. The circuit (logic) board went out. After talking to a technician I was told that this is common with Craftsman garage door openers
