Easy fix!
Although I have never made a repair to this wonderful 25 year old washer, it appeared easy to do from some videos on the internet. Turns out it was an extremely easy fix and no special tools required - pliers and socket head screwdriver and about 20 minutes of my time. Saved me about $270.00 for an appliance repairman. The part was a well made, exact replacement for the old water inlet/mix valves, not a cheap copy from across the Pacific.

Direct Replace/Perfect
Took less than 5 minutes to replace and works great. Biggest problem is getting the washer out of the drain pan and tight closet which to an hour.
