Choose this manufacturer-approved fan wheel for your residential dryer.
This fan wheel for a residential dryer attaches to the motor and allows the blower to send heated air through the dryer drum and over clothes while the machine is in use.
Unplug the dryer before beginning to install the replacement fan wheel and wear gloves and a long-sleeved work shirt while making the repair to avoid cutting yourself on the sharp edges of the dryer cabinet.
The blower has a left-hand thread, so you need to hold the shaft of the motor and turn the blower clockwise at the same time to remove the part.
