This high-voltage rectifier for a countertop microwave works in conjunction with the high-voltage capacitors to step up the voltage of the electricity flowing into the oven.

  • Hiring an experienced technician to install the replacement high-voltage rectifier, or any other electronic component in a microwave is recommended because the part poses a significant shock hazard.
  • Make sure the microwave is unplugged before the repair is begun. Also ensure that the microwave is checked for leaks after the oven is reassembled.
