Kenmore Range Main Top assembly
need phillips head for screws at front but need a small square bit to remove screws that attach the two steel plate supports for the burners to the rangetop. Lastly, remember to slide off the two steel clips at the back of the rangetop to put on the new one (may be stuck on; just keep wiggling til unclip)

easy for my husband (not me!) to install
We dropped a glass bowl of water from the over-the-range microwave onto our stovetop and killed the glass. My hubs is pretty handy and he was able to replace it very easily with my eleven year old son holding the flashlight under the lid.

Replacement glass stove top for kenmore stove
Remember to save the two brackets off your old stovetop as they are not included either the new one. Also remove the front metal strip from your old one as the new one is not included. This is necessary to attach and secure the new one in place. Do not throw the old top away until your project is complete

Fair but Poor
We needed a new top for our stove since the last one the glass broke by an accident. We looked all around and found your site and it looked like a very good affordable buy. The time it took to get here was well but the new stove top we received had 1. A bump scrape on the front right corner like someone had dragged it and bumped it as well 2. After the first use a lot of burnt in circles appeared on the main right front burner. We needed the replacement and have cooked on it because we didn't have a choice since we could not cook on our old stove top. So it's fair because it looks fairly well at glance and new if looked at from the top. But it's poor for the bump scrape and little circles it started forming after first use. We are keeping it as we need a stove and don't want to waste more money on a brand new stove
