To make the electrical connection I had to use solderless butt splice connectors and electrical tape. Not Ideal in the wet environment. I'd recommend using heatshrink sealed solderless butt splice connectors or have connector pin / socket extraction tools on hand , and some sort of appliance pin and socket assortment The shipping dates and time frames are worthless I was told the unit would take 2 weeks to ship, apparently because I ordered the thermodisc too. Couldn't cancel the order shortly after I placed the order. So I ordered another one with expedited shipping. The order that was going to take 2 weeks showed up quickly and the expedited one showed up 2 days late grrrrr..
