Exact fit
This part was very simple to install. A slide on part with a key I tried two other venders off Amazon and ordered by part number and got the wrong part each time. The part number is stamped on the part. Sears was the one that sent the correct part by part number. A + to Sears.

Blade adapter
The part is machined incorrectly and is not a suitable substitute. It does slide on to the point of the key but stops. I ensured the key was aligned and tried to tap it on by hand and with a brass mallet. After a few taps, I removed the adapter and looked inside. I could see the rust marks the shaft made on the adapter on top of the inner ring.
