RPM sensor replacement
January 09, 2019|Brad2019, Nashua NH

This unit was easy to install however the slotted wheel provided (that goes on the motor shaft) was to big and wouldn't fit between the sensors. It couldn't be used so I re-used the old wheel. Works well.

Installing the RPM sensor only took about 10 minutes, but unfortunately it was not the solution to my problem.

Haven't installed it yet
July 25, 2018|StevenB, St. Louis

The garage door opener was intermittently working after a 'brownout' power outage. I unplugged/reset the opener and the problem went away for a few days. At that time I reset the opener again and ordered the RPM sensor assy since all I could find on this problem was indicated that was the cause. Of course since that time the opener has worked every time so I'm waiting for it to fail again before replacing the part. Watching the video it looks a relatively simple and straightforward task, but until it fails again I'm leaving well enough alone. I had to answer both questions about installing the part and length of time to post the survey/review
