The inner stainless steel basket shaft was pitted and a replacement was not available. Ended up buying a new washer dryer set.

Difficult to install.
I ordered this part and realized I needed to replace the spinner basket. I did not install it but disassembled the washing machine to discover I needed a new spinner basket. This repair is somewhat difficult and time consuming. The shaft of the spinner basket was severely pitted and after talking to a appliance repair guy, he told me it would probably start leaking again, so I did not install the rear tub. I am going to have to return it. However, the rear tub arrived in about 5 days so that was good.

Was exactly what they said it was
This replacement part requires dismantling of the complete washer. I highly recommend replacing the drum support shaft at the same time. I did not and knowing what I know now. I would have years more longevity than I do. $55 part is a small price for all the work already done and greater longevity.

Great price and OEM Part
The part was exactly the right fix for my bad bearings (sounded like a jet was taking off during the spin cycle). There is quite a bit of disassembly and reassembly, but the many YouTube videos made it acceptable. It was a good chance to clean everything and replace the belt and struts. I have the Whirlpool Duet WFW9400SW02. I would have gone the route of replacing only the bearings, but at this price it wasn't worth the risk. Took about 4 or 5 hours. The electric impact screwdriver got a workout with the T-20 bit.

Need the proper tools and knowledge to install.
You have to know how to install the part. If you don't, you will be lost. We have to return the part becasue our washer was to old. The parts kept breaking when trying to install the new part.
