This cord is suppose to fit the Elite Kenmore mixer. That is the one with the hole. It has ends on it and they must be removed and it will not fit through the hole that retains the cord for storage. What I did, rather then send back and wait for a long time is made it work. Cut ends, and Soldiered in place the Machine end. Then was able to use the screw down clip to hold the cord from extending to far. Now you will have to split where the cord is held in place as comes out of the machine and slide split over cord. Now when you put it back together it will work like before. You are now ready to use.
