This manufacturer-approved bake burner igniter (part number 492431) for Bosch freestanding gas range model HGS232UC-01 is a glow bar that mounts onto the burner assembly at the bottom of the oven. Switching on the burner heats the igniter until it becomes white hot and can ignite gas flowing from the valve.
