This replacement bottom door hinge (part number 4386946) can be mounted onto several models of side-by-side refrigerators. It works for the fresh food door or the freezer door.
The bottom hinge supports the weight of the door and serves as the pivot point. The safest way to remove a bottom hinge is to remove the top hinge first and then lift the door off the shaft of the lower hinge. Screws secure the bottom door hinge to the refrigerator cabinet. Before attaching the new hinge, inspect the closer cams and shims. Replace any parts that are bent or damaged.
