Use this mower deck housing to replace a damaged housing on Craftsman lawn tractor model number 9172774. All the components for the mower deck -- including the mandrels, pulleys, belt and brackets -- attach to the housing and will need to be transferred from the old one to the new one.

Inspect the components when removing them. It may make financial sense to order a complete replacement mower deck (PartsDirect part number 186353) for the tractor rather than replacing just the mower deck housing and a few worn or damaged components.
