Tool chest slide spring clip M3163 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Craftsman 706-series tool chests.
Slide spring clip M3163 attaches to end of the drawer slide.
This clip prevents the drawer from coming completely out of the tool chest when you open the drawer.

Inaccurate part description, Incompetent technical
The clips were made in two different lengths, 2" and 1 5/8". Before I placed the order I specifically asked for the length of the clip being sold and the representative told me very clearly, after putting me on hold to check that the clip was 2" long. The existing clips on my tool box are 2" so I was satisfied that the replacement clip was an exact match and completed my order. The clip that I received is 1 5/8" long.

Tool chest slide spring clip
Replaced these clips on the drawer for my tool box that were missing. Fit perfectly on my craftsman rollaway which I purchased way back in 1978.

No problems installing
Only took about 15 minutes to fix 3 drawers that had been broken for years. Wish I'd bought them a long time ago.
