This mulch kit (part number 33746) is for lawn tractors.
Mulch kit 33746 changes the tractor from bagging mode to mulching mode, to finely shred the grass clippings and drop them to the ground. Mulching reduces the need for extra nitrogen fertilizer by returning nutrients to the soil. The kit may include multiple parts; refer to your parts diagram for a complete list of parts included.

So glad I did
Arrived immediately. Took 10 minutes to install. Neighbors were using leaf blowers and tarps and outside all day. I had my coffee and just drove around for about 1/2 hour till all leaves were mulched. Did a better job than I expected. Thanks

Easy to install!!!!
It would have only taken around 20-30 minutes to install, but I had to take off the grass catcher and the deflector. It would be easier to install if you could just take off the deflector and replace it with a bracket. Other than that it was easy.

The right parts.
Took awhile since nobody was knowledgeable about my tractor model 917.255830. This model comes up on everyone's radar as a 1987 model although the tractor was bought new 3 years ago. Something with the serial number. After 5 attempts and 2 days finally got someone that knew what parts I needed. Do t use the validity check on the website.
