Better than OEM!
I bought this to replace the broken piece in my range hood control panel. This plastic is thicker and strong than the original piece that broke. Very happy with the purchase. Wish it came with new screws which would've saved me some time time but it ended up being fine. Took about 5 minutes to install. Removed the fan grates, reached in and pulled out the control panel from inside and replaced the cover. Cant thank Sears Parts Direct enough for offering this at a decent price and great quality.

Sturdy and Easy to install.
My original KitchenAid vent hood switch panel had come loose from the housing because the plastic screw housing had become brittle and broke. It does not come with mounting screws, so you'll need to hold on to the old ones or make a trip to the home center for replacement screws. The replacement switch is much more sturdy than the old one.

looks substantially better than OEM part
Installing this is very easy, and it came really quickly - in just 3 days, instead of the estimated 2 weeks. The OEM part was very brittle, and when I removed it, it was in several pieces. Since I thought the replacement would take a long time, I repaired the original piece with UV glue and epoxy putty (some fragments were too small to use). It's still holding together, but when it fails I'll replace with this one, which looks as though it will last longer than I will.
