Check your Dryer Model
The electronic control board did need to be replaced. I ordered the part based on the Owner's Manual that came with my dryer. Beware... you need to check inside your dryer door to get the correct model number. The part that I ordered was incorrect. I subsequently paid $380 to have a technician come to my house and install the correct part, which he accomplished in less than 30 minutes. If I had ordered the correct control board, this would be a 5-star review.

Easy to install, but part didn't work.
The install of the new control panel was easy, plug and play. But went to fire up dryer, new error code. Frustrating. Reinstalled old panel that I fixed. No return instructions from Sears.
