DO NOT BUY from Sears Parts Direct

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM SEARS PARTS DIRECT! This company has the one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Ordered dishwasher part on 5/21/25 through their website which stated part was in stock and would be received by 5/23/25. Part did not arrive so I called their customer service line (shouldn't be calling them that as their "customer service" is non-existent) on 5/25/25 and 3 CSR's later was told part not available until November. I asked for cancellation and refund and the CSR stated the order had been cancelled and FULL refund had been issued back to my credit card. This was followed with an email from them stating same. Four days later, the part arrived at my front door. I called and spoke with 3 other CSR's over next several days, all of which stated I should return part and a FULL refund would be issued. The FULL refund was stated in 3 separate emails received from Sears. I used online return process and received authorization to return. Part returned on 6/3/25 and shipper stated that they delivered returned part to Sears on 6/6/25. Several days and calls later to numerous Sears CSR's resulted in idle promises of refund. One CSR stated that refund was not issued because it was stuck in their "cancellation queue". Another call to CSR on 6/13/25 resulted in his statement that refund again was issued to my credit card with email stating a FULL refund would be issued in 24-48 hours. Finally, a PARTIAL refund appears on my credit card account on 6/15/25 (21 days after promise of order cancellation and FULL refund) but there has never been an explanation from anyone at Sears Parts Direct for the partial refund. In my opinion, this company and its systems are in complete disarray!
