This manufacturer-approved console (part number W10370314) is for a front-load washer, including Whirlpool front-load washer model WFW9151YW00.
Shut off the circuit breaker for the washer or unplug the unit before beginning to install the replacement console. Taking off the existing console requires removing the top panel from the washer cabinet by taking out the 3 screws the secure it in place from the rear of the machine. Lift off the top panel and set it aside.
To access the 2 screws that secure the existing console to the dispenser drawer, open the drawer and press down on the detergent slot to release the tab. Take out the screws, then release the mounting clips around the edge of the console.
