This manufacturer-approved primary mandrel assembly (part number 532121705) is for lawn tractors, including Craftsman model 917250040 - 91.255942.
Use care when making the repair, especially when handling the sharp blades. Disconnect the battery from the engine to prevent accidental starts.
Taking the mower deck off the tractor to install the new primary mandrel assembly is recommended. Otherwise, a lift designed to support the tractor off the ground should be used. Consult the owners manual to get information on the proper amount of torque to apply to the blade nut.
