Reviews
Fairly easy to install but one serious problem.
After spending about a half hour installing the motor and reassembling the vacuum, it made a loud scraping noise, smelled like burning plastic and tripped the circuit breaker. After disassembling the vacuum, I discovered that the fan disc included with the new motor was too thick and rubbed against the housing causing the plastic to melt. It worked ok after I used the old fan disc, but it vibrates because the old disc is distorted. I would appreciate getting the correct disc for my vacuum. If not, then I'm not pleased with the product.

Super easy to install.
I bought this shop vacuum cleaner and have used it constantly in my shop and construction business. Although after many years of use and wearing the motor out, I'm sure I will have many years of use again. I intend on buying another motor and shelving it because I believe that I will never have to buy another vacuum cleaner. Hard to kill most Craftsman products. This vac could be in a commercial.
