This manufacturer-approved main top (part number 8285128) for Whirlpool electric cooktop model GJC3034LB0 houses the surface elements and the mounting brackets for the elements.
Replacing the 4 surface element infinite switch shaft seals (part number 3182435) at the same time as the main top is recommended.
While taking off the existing main top, make note of where the mounting brackets are positioned, how the wiring harnesses are routed and attached, and how the surface elements are installed.
