The right way to change a range's clock

Hi, this is Wayne from Sears PartsDirect. You ever have a problem setting the clock on your range after Daylight Saving Time? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Most of us hold the clock key on the range down forever and expect to see the hour digits blink so that we can move the clock an hour ahead or back.

What happened? Don’t worry, you didn’t break it. Holding the clock button down on this range causes the display to disappear. That tidbit of information is in the owner’s manual, neatly hidden where nobody can find it. If this happens to you, just hold the clock button down for 5 seconds and the clock display will reappear. Now you can adjust the time by just pressing the clock button and using the up or down arrow to adjust the time.

If this doesn’t work for you, enter your model number in the search bar at the top of the page to find your owner's manual. And be sure to check out our other videos on the Sears PartsDirect YouTube Channel. Subscribe and we’ll let you know when we post new videos.
